  • Ruff, armchair by Patricia Urquiola. Ruff, Getlucky‘s “sister” armchair, is designed by Patricia Urquiola for the contract and hospitality sectors, and indeed any living space, as it offers the ideal forum for a conversation.

    The Ruff armchair has a functional shape, while its personality does not give up being an object that inhabits the space it is placed in.

  • Redondo, small armchair by Patricia Urquiola. In its design, Redondo is inspired by 1950s and 60s American cars- their upholstered interiors, the soft curves of their bodywork, and on-the-road comfort for long coast-to-coast drives. To the observer, it is the stage for scenes for everyday life.

    Injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam and polyester fiber over internal frame in steel. Feet in plypropylene. The fabric used for upholstering the collection is quilted on particular design of the designer Patricia Urquiola.

  • A soft, enveloping collection that cocoons in curves.
    The new Pacific collection, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Moroso, provides an intimate seating experience that is like being wrapped in a protective and relaxing cocoon.

    In the Pacific sofa, hard edges are banned while the soft shapes are enhanced with the use of “couture” details.  The soft, woolly upholstery was chosen to give an extraordinarily tactile experience.

  • Moon, small armchair by Tokujin Yoshioka. Voids and spaces move in perfect formal harmony. Shifting, flowing lines give the chair a profile which seems evanescent rather than solid, absorbing and diffusing a faint, refined glow.

  • Modou, outdoor by Ron Arad. Modou is the name that Ron Arad chose for his collection: dynamic and cinematic just like a futuristic bolide, as a homage to the metalworker Modou, that worked with him in Dakar.

    The seating collection is made by weaving the polyethylene cords used traditionally in Africa for fishing nets. Non-standard designs, different and original, made entirely by hand in Dakar, in Senegal, in the M’Afrique Atelier.

  • Klara Armchair with back in natural cane, an armchair which is both functional and decorative, which feels artisan-made but has a contemporary look. Frame is beech wood. Seat and back covered with polyurethane flame-retardant foam on bent plywood.
    Klara armchair is available in Vienna cane back.

  • Getlucky, small armchair by Patricia Urquiola, it experiment with binary geometry to combine their seat parts and backrests to great effect.
    It stands out for the simplicity of its forms.

    With Getlucky, backrest and seat are geometric forms, perfectly balanced; this special dialogue between shapes, becomes solemn and sculptural in Ruff, the “sister” lounge chair.

  • Gogan, armchair by Patricia Urquiola. The Gogan collection takes its name from nature and in particular from Japanese stones rendered smooth by time and water, which provided the inspiration for this project.

    The seats are soft and irregular with the centre of gravity being slightly inclined towards the rear. This gives exceptional comfort and allows the backrest to be kept lower. The backrest and seat are joined by abutments, which lend the sofa a sense of lightness, so that it appears as if it was suspended above the ground.

     

  • From a piece of seashell, which has been broken and smoothed by the waves, Patricia Urquiola has designed a collection of seats for both the home and public spaces. Smooth lines that support and envelop are picked out in decorative stitching in harmony with the essence of the chair’s structure.
